Ultimate 1-Day Stage Race in the Overberg
Langeberg Link MTB - After the successful events of 2018 & 2019 & 2020 this sanctioned 1-Day MTB race in the Western Cape, will once again take place during Heritage weekend in the Swellendam area, on 25 September 2021.
Entries for 2021 will be capped. As in the past, no effort will be spared to ensure a safe and rewarding experience for all riders.
The Langeberg Link MTB event will be based at Oudewerf Farm, about 12 km west of Swellendam, and on Route 60. Most of the route transit through private land, not open to the public and thus ensuring uniqueness. The track, where access is limited, is purposely designed for cyclists to enjoy the overwhelming beauty of fauna and flora in the area and experience some breathtaking views, thus making rider participation a major contributor in the conservation effort of the event.

Quick Facts About the Race
Since the inception of the event in 2017, this sanctioned 1-Day MTB race in the Western Cape, will once again take place during Heritage weekend in the Swellendam area, on 25 September 2021.
The Langeberg Link MTB will be based at Oudewerf Farm 12Km west of Swellendam on Route 60. The route has never before been cycled on any stage race, and is situated mostly on private land, not open to public - thus ensuring the uniqueness of the event.
The track, where access is limited, is purposely designed that cyclists can enjoy the overwhelming beauty of fauna and flora in the area and experience some breathtaking views of waterfalls.
Single Stage Race, Men, Women, & Solo riders. Kids also welcome, Special provisions been made.
The Langeberg Link MTB event will be based at Oudewerf Farm, about 12 km west of Swellendam. GPS Coordinates -34.0034313,20.3333224” Starting line is located 150 meters away from the R60, this section is a short gravel road.
Route 1 - 20km R220 (R200 for PPA Members) , Route 2 - 50km R550 (R500 for PPA Members), Route 3 - 80km R850 (R800 for PPA Members).
Kids U/10 R50, Free if accompanied by an adult.
